Although Elavon offers surcharging in most states, merchants are responsible for determining the legality of surcharging in their states, and merchants are liable if their activities are found to be unlawful.
**Card Reader Included with Activation Offer: Merchant Services and card reader provided by and subject to approval by Elavon. The card reader used for this promotion is the Moby5500. Upon approval, merchant will be charged $89 plus applicable tax for the initial reader. This fee will be refunded upon activation as a statement credit. To receive the refund, merchant must meet the following qualifying requirements: (a) offer is only available for merchants currently accepting credit cards, debit cards or mobile wallet payments with another processor and who have not been a U.S. Bank and Elavon merchant client in the past 6 months and cannot be combined with any other U.S. Bank and Elavon merchant offer; (b) completed application package must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. PT on April 30, 2023, (c) merchant must activate account within 60 calendar days of approval date by settling at least $5.00 in cardholder payments and (d) process $74,999 or less in annual credit card sales. Elavon will apply the refund to the merchant’s monthly statement as a credit within 120 calendar days after account activation. Merchant account must be open, active, processing minimums and in good standing at the time of refund. Other fees may apply. **$600 Merchant Thank You Bonus Credit: Offer is only available for merchants currently accepting credit cards, debit cards or mobile wallet payments with another processor and who have not been a U.S. Bank and Elavon merchant client in the past 6 months and cannot be combined with any other U.S. Bank and Elavon merchant offer. Businesses are subject to underwriting and approval by Elavon. To qualify for the bonus credit, merchant must meet the following requirements: (a) process a minimum of $75,000 in annual credit card sales, (b) completed application package must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. PT on April 30, 2023, (c) activate the new merchant account within 60 calendar days of the approval date by settling at least $5.00 in cardholder payments and (d) pay all applicable fees prior to Elavon processing the bonus credit. Elavon will apply the bonus credit to the merchant’s monthly statement as a statement credit within 120 calendar days after account activation.
